The Board of Directors of Osaka Gas has decided today to appoint Mr. Hiroshi Ozaki as Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Takehiro Honjo as President to succeed Mr. Ozaki. The appointments take effect on April 1, 2015.

Honjo is currently Executive Vice President overseeing primarily sales and marketing operations of Osaka Gas. Prior to the current post assigned in April 2013, he experienced his executive responsibilities as head of the business units of marketing for residential and commercial/industrial customers between June 2008 and March 2013.

Mr. Honjo joined Osaka Gas in April 1978 after graduating from Kyoto University with a bachelor's degree in economics.
