Gas Safety Guide
Kitchen Be Careful so that Fire doesn't Result from Tempura Oil.

Do not leave the gas appliance unattended when cooking with oil.
Be sure to turn off the when you leave the gas cooking stove.
Cooking oil is one of the three biggest causes of fire, exceeding cigarettes and arson.
Three major causes of fire (1995 survey by the Fire and Management Agency)
When oil temperature reaches approx. 370, it catches fire by itself.
If cooking oil catches fire...

1. Turn off the gas.

2. Cover the pan with a big wet towel.
Never throw water over the fire.
