Act quickly without panic.

If you do not get any gas... (how to reset the microcomputer meter)


	Check to see if the red indicator lamp on the microcomputer meter is flashing to indicate the shutoff of the gas. The microcomputer meter shuts off the gas in the following cases: Earthquake of Japanese seismic intensity level 5 or higher Large volume of gas leakage Long, uninterrupted use of gas appliances Drop in gas pressure

Carefully check for the mistakenly opened gas tap, the disconnection of a gas tube, and the smell of gas. If you notice the smell of gas, immediately contact Osaka Gas according to the instruction on 'If you notice gas leak by yourself....' For further details, refer to the instruction manual for the microcomputer meter that is separately distributed.

If there is no smell of gas (a cause other than a gas leak is suspected), perform the following recovery steps:



Close all the gas taps and appliance taps including those of outdoor appliances. Check to see whether the gas taps not in use are closed. However, do not close the gas meter valve.

Uncap the recovery button.

Push the recovery button until it has stopped, and hold it in that position. Immediately after checking that the lamp flashes for 1-3 seconds, release the recovery button.

Wait for approx. 3 minutes (during which the gas appliances will be checked to see whether they are turned off). When the indicator lamp stops flashing, you may use gas. Cap the recovery button.

			Close all the gas taps and appliance taps including those of outdoor appliances. Check to see whether the gas taps not in use are closed. However, do not close the gas meter valve.
