1. After the tremor has calmed down, close the appliance valves (to extinguish all flames) and also the gas taps(main valve).
2. If you notice a gas leak, open the windows and doors, call Osaka Gas, and then evacuate to an outdoor location
 Never use fire or electricity.
3. To resume using gas, make sure that there is no smell of gas before you open the gas tap.
4. If you do not get a gas flow after opening the gas tap, check your microcomputer meter.
If the supply of gas to your area is stopped or the gas piping is broken after a big earthquake, no gas will be available even by resetting the microcomputer meter.
