Material Technologies
Outline
We are developing fluorene derivaties and polysilanes that have earned attention as high performance materials to improve performance of digital devices. Technologies have been developed to manufacture high quality and low-cost denaturation materials for commercial products.
Characteristics
Fluorene derivaties and polysilanes have characteristics of high thermal resistance which are required to improve the image of LCDs, and low dielectric constant which is required to make computers faster, and high refractive index which is important for optical instruments. Polysilanes have added features of optical reactivity against ultra-violet rays unlike the conventional carbon-based organic materials.

Technical Term
Polysilane: Plastics whose main chain is consist of only silicon (Si-Si
bond).@
Fluorene derivaties: Fluorene with substituents (fluorene is a chemical
substance contained in coal tar)
