Objective
The conventional way of lowering the pressure in a medium-pressure holder, in cases where it is not practicable to simply allow the pressure to be reduced through gas consumption in the service district, is to burn the gas. In order to avoid burning gas to reduce pressure in the holder, we have developed a compressor-mounted vehicle called "ECOPURGE".

Features
- The vehicle size and weight are such that an operator can drive the vehicle even with no specialized training or qualification such as a license to drive heavy-duty vehicles.
- High-capacity processing (1000 Nm3/h on average)
- Low noise design (72 dB at a location 7 m away on the equipment side)
- Incorporation of an interactive operation panel (Operating procedures and conditions displayed by LCD)
Principle of pressure reduction
ECOPURGE draws gas from the target of pressure reduction (spherical holder), compresses it in a compressor, and discharges it into an adjacent medium-pressure pipeline to achieve pressure reduction. For this purpose, a gas engine-powered compressor package is mounted on the vehicle.
