A piping drag-reduction additive <ECOMICELL> is a brand new water additive that can reduce power consumption of chilled/hot water pumps for air conditioning systems.
By just adding a small quantity of this liquid to chilled/hot water, a drag of the water flow inside the piping is reduced.
The reduced power consumption of the chilled/hot water pumps can be realized by using the inverter-aided water pumps and/or pumps controlled by the multiple unit control system.

- When the ECOMICELL is used in combined with inverter-aided pumps and/ or multiple unit controlled pumps in ordinary buildings, power consumption for pumps can be reduced by approx. 20 - 30%.
- The same reduced effects in piping friction are demonstrated in both chilled and hot waters.
- This method can be applied easily to both new buildings
and already established buildings
- Only by adding a small amount of ECOMICELL to chilled/hot water, piping friction can be reduced.
- No influence is given to the performance of the air-conditioning
system
- It doesn't give any adverse influence on the performance of the heat source equipment, air-conditioning systems and fan coil units.
- It doesn't give any adverse influence on piping materials.
- The agent added chilled/hot water could be discharged to a city sewer as it is.
