Application Technologies (Commercial, Industrial Use)
Outline
We are developing a technology which accurately simulates the dispersion of exhausts taking the airflow around high buildings and atmospheric condition into consideration, to support the prediction air evaluation of environmental impact and also to support the designing of optimal exhaust ducts upon the introduction of cogeneration systems.

Simulation of the dispersion of exhaust from a cogeneration
system around high buildings.
Characteristic
The reliability of the prediction system based on numerical simulation of the fluid dynamic phenomena has been improved to achieve an accuracy level required for practical use through an wind tunnel verification experiments, and it is being applied to the evaluation of environmental impact upon actual introduction of cogeneration systems.
Future Tasks
In addition to improvement and expansion of simulation reliability and applicability, we will develop a method to improve its capability to include prediction of such parameters as instantaneous maximum density of exhaust in order to respond to greater demands arising from potential change, in the social environment.
