Outline

In order to support the design of a highly performance industrial furnace, we are developing a design support method incorporating a prediction of the gas flow and the combustion process within industrial furnace.

Characteristic

The reliability of numerical simulation is being improved by acquiring the characteristic data and modeling, based on the measurement and visualization of the processes of gas/air mixing and combustion. We are aiming at practical use of this technology by improving the accuracy of the simulation through a close coordination with trial manufacture-and field experiment.

Future Tasks

we will develop a better simulation technology, and also constructing a database which constitutes a basis for the simulation.
