Objectives

These alarms detect gas leakage as well as carbon monoxide generated by incomplete combustion, thus helping prevent CO poisoning. They are suitable for installation near gas appliances that are not equipped with incomplete combustion prevention devices.

Commercial Products Lineup

In June 1995, Osaka Gas began sales of a wall-mounted alarms for household uses. In September 1996, we introduced a wall-mounted unit for business uses that offers high durability to withstand the harsh conditions in business applications. In October 1997, Osaka Gas released a ceiling-mounted household unit, thus completing a full line of gas leakage detectors with incomplete combustion alarm.

Features

  • Detects gas leaks and incomplete combustion with two sensors, and sounds different warning messages with voice.
  • Equipped with two lamps for separate gas leakage and incomplete combustion indication.
  • Sensors are equipped with an activated carbon to minimize the influences of interference gases (such as alcohol vapors) generated by cooking, thus ensuring proper detection of gas leakage.
  • Compact size.
