The red light on your gas meter blinks when the gas supply is turned off in the following events．
If gas does not come out, there is a possibility of a gas leak. If you smell gas, close the valve and contact us immediately (Gas Leak Emergency Number).
If gas does not come out and you don’t smell gas, follow these steps.
Make sure that the Gas Meter Valve is open.
Close all the other gas taps including those of the outside appliances.
Remove the Reset Button Cap by turning it counter-clockwise.
Keep pressing the Reset Button firmly until the red light comes on. After 1 to 3 seconds with the red light on, release the Reset Button, and the red light will start blinking.
[ If a string or a lever is attached to your gas meter installed in a high place ]
Push the lever upward or pull the string down until the red light comes on. After 1 to 3 seconds with the red light on, release the Reset Button, and the red light will start blinking.
Please wait for 3 minutes, during which it checks for gas leaks. When the red lamp stops blinking, you can start using gas. Please make sure to put the Reset Button Cap back on.
If gas does not begin flowing normally with the red lamp blinking after 3 minutes, please make sure that all the gas valves are closed and the gas appliances are turned off. If the gas valves are open, please close them and follow Gas Meter Reset Procedure again.
