As a part of efforts to enhance tourism with a view to revitalizing Osaka, CEL researcher Tomoyo Kurimoto is conducting ongoing research to identify the history and culture of the area, and promotes related research with promising possibilities for the future. The project, the ‘Story teller of Naniwa (Osaka)’ is one of means of communication. Themes are compiled as stories and, in addition to visuals, these unique performances utilize piano and violin, plus wind instruments. The events have been very well-received.
