Osaka Gas Signs Contract for Purchase of LNG from Northwest Shelf Expansion Project

Osaka Gas singed today in Australia the contract for purchasing LNG from Australia. The new contract is for LNG from the expansion project of the Northwest Shelf. Of the total volume of 4.2 million tons per annum of the new project, Osaka Gas is to purchase an annual total of 1 million tons for the duration of 30 years starting in 2004. LNG on the contract is to be delivered on the FOB basis.
