Osaka Gas Signs the New Malaysian LNG Contract

Osaka Gas, together with Tokyo Gas and Toho Gas, signed the contract for the purchase of LNG from the Malaysia Tiga Project. Of the total contractual volume of 680 thousand tons, Osaka Gas will purchase 120 thousand tons annually from this source. The duration of the contract is 20 years starting in 2004. In the new project, the third of its kind in Malaysia, a new LNG production train with the capacity of 6.8 million tons/year will be constructed.
