Osaka Gas to increase its interim dividend

The Board of Directors of Osaka Gas decided to increase its payment of the interim dividend per share by \0.5 to \3.0. For the fiscal year 2002, ending March 31, 2002, the total dividend per share will be \6 against \5 of the year earlier.
